Bengaluru's metro expansion matters to property buyers because road capacity, not distance, is the binding constraint across most of the city. Two alignments currently under construction serve the northern corridor directly, and a third is approved.

The Blue Line runs up the NH-44 airport corridor and is the alignment most relevant to Thirumenahalli. Three stations sit within a short drive: Bagalur Cross at roughly 5.0 km, Yelahanka — formerly referred to as Kogilu Cross — at approximately 5.1 km, and Jakkur Cross at about 6.3 km. Yelahanka is indicatively targeted to open around June 2027, subject to change.

Veerannapalya on the same line serves Manyata Tech Park directly, roughly 7.7 km from Thirumenahalli, with an indicative opening around December 2027. For anyone commuting into Manyata, that station changes the daily calculation more than any road improvement realistically could.

The Pink Line matters for city-bound travel. Its underground section terminating at Nagawara, approximately 10 km away, is targeted for December 2026. Once both alignments operate, Nagawara becomes a Pink and Blue interchange — the connection that links this northern belt to the central business district by rail rather than by road.

Hebbal completes the picture. The station there, roughly 8.9 km from Thirumenahalli, will carry the Blue Line alongside an approved Orange Line, which makes it the most connected node in this part of the city once complete. Multi-line interchanges tend to anchor property values around them more firmly than single-line stops.

Two cautions belong alongside these dates. Metro completion timelines in Bengaluru have moved before, and every date above is indicative rather than committed. And infrastructure typically reprices land well ahead of commissioning, which means some of the benefit is already reflected in current Thanisandra rates near Rs 11,500 per sft. A buyer at a project such as Codename Club Class should treat rail as an improvement that is coming rather than one that is present, and should be comfortable with the road commute meanwhile.
